After much trial-and-error, and a fair amount of procrastination, I am thrilled to announce that our primary bathroom is now finally decorated.
Hurrah!!
If you have been following me on my socials, you may have seen a few photos, as I trickle-released a sneak-peak of my hard work. Here are a few more snapshots for my patient, die-hard readers:

PS our bed WAS actually made, but three guesses who messed it up???

I also recorded this quick YouTube video tour of our newly decorated space:

There often seems to be a cog in the wheel, preventing me from completing many DIY projects that I start. Granted, that cog is often me not feeling inclined to do the work on that day. (“I can’t be arsed!” is a common refrain.)
However, in the case of this bathroom, the wheel-coggage was mostly out of my control due to a pause in the supply chain of one crucial wallpapering component: wallpaper paste.
First of all, I ran out of it at home.
Second of all, they ran out of it at the DIY shops.
Yes, shops. Plural. It was either a case of the shops awaiting new stock, or – rudely – not even selling the stuff in the first place. At any rate, the result was the same: I came home empty handed.
But not before kicking over their display boxes on my way out the door.
(JOKING.)
Anyway, it was very bloody frustrating. But long story short, the project eventually got completed. We are thrilled with the results.
Lots of love,
M xo
