Welcome to the world of the English Maximalista!

A little bit about myself: in 2024, my husband and I moved to South-Central Colorado, shifting here after many years suffering through the humid Summers and frigid Winters of the American Midwest. We have been happily married for five years, both work from home, have three lovely daughters, and one lunatic Labrador.

I was born and raised in rural England, moving permanently to the US when I was fresh out of college at 22… full of ideas (but not so full of money!), I learned how to improvise and build my DIY skills.

“Nesting” is something I have been passionate about for my entire life. My home is an extension of who I am: a veritable Museum of Me. It is an honest reflection of my life and my story. My nest is my true love. (Shhh, don’t tell my dog.)

Having said that, I am also an avid traveler, who loves exploring all places, near and far… although my favourite journey is always the journey back to my nest. A cliché, I know, yet it is so true!

I am delighted to invite you along to accompany me, as I muddle my way through my imperfect life.
